We're Sweed, a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We’re on the lookout for a Product Owner to join our team remotely and help us scale and optimize our platform.

We’ve been on the market for 6 years, continuously growing and refining our product. Our focus is on earning customer trust, which means constantly improving our delivery processes and rolling out new features. At the same time, we navigate the complex legal landscape of the cannabis industry, ensuring our platform remains compliant and future-proof.


What You’ll Be Working On

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for our in-store products (e.g. kiosks)  that aligns with the company's strategy and vision.

  • Conduct market and customer research to gather insights and inform product development decisions.

  • Define and prioritize product features based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and prioritized based on business and customer impact.

  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve products.

  • Perform independent business analysis of features.

  • Manage the team's daily operations, including hiring, motivation, and performance management.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager role

  • Technical understanding of the product and the ability to communicate effectively with the development team. 

  • Proven experience in a dynamically evolving product with constantly shifting priorities.

  • Familiarity with Kanban, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to perform business analysis and project management.

  • Upper-Intermediate and higher level of English. You will need to communicate with the English-speaking part of the team, clients and write and read the documentation in English.

  • Additionally, you excel in creating exceptional products and driving metrics growth.

The Team

We've structured our staff into cross-functional teams, each dedicated to a specific product. These teams typically consist of 8-12 members, including front-end and back-end engineers, QA specialists, and analysts. Each team is guided by a Team Lead and a Product Owner, ensuring smooth collaboration and clear direction.

Right now, our total team size is around 180 people, with a distributed development team located across multiple countries. Meanwhile, our CEO, account managers, and customer success team are based in the USA, working closely with us to align product development with business and user needs.

  2. Product Case with Head of Ecom (45 minute)

  3. Interview with Chief of Staff and Head of Ecom (1 hour)

  4. Interview with VP of Operations (30 minute)

  5. Interview with CEO (1 hour)
